LARGE KNITTED BANNERS
Large banners are knit from wool and sewn onto stretched linen. They are black and white, with a small color border, and the size is 63”x80,” some vertical and some horizontal.
The first one presents a list of New Year’s resolutions. In my experience, New Year’s resolutions last a couple of days before slipping into obsolescence. To knit them in wool is to give them much more gravitas than they ever deserve. I edited the resolutions soon after and made a new banner and then another new one a little later than that. Then I made some banners with advice friends gave me, protest signs, words of wisdom from psychics, and, most recently, bookshelves. The titles on the bookshelves are taken from my publication called BOOKSHELF.
