Since 2004, when I knit my first presidential campaign sweater endorsing John Kerry, I have knit at least one for almost every election cycle. The challenge in 2020 was to make a festive sweater for a dude who wasn’t really winning any popularity contests within my community. Also I thought he looked pretty suave in the mask and aviators.
